Disappointing

If you want to stay in a hotel where things work as youd expect do not stay there.

Lovely pub

- room was noisy - water pressure was inexistant - room was damp and cold - heating did not work A couple of other things did not work and I raised them, but after a while I got tired of raising issues. If you want to stay in a hotel where things work as youd expect do not stay there. Nice pub but not a hotel.

Beyond my expectations.Good location.Very good experience.

Downstairs is the restaurant, very beautiful place, unfortunately not too much time for breakfast. Overall in line with my expectations. The room is the right size for two people. Indoor supplies are very complete, overall good. The bathroom is large, bright and clean. Would stay here again.

Disappointing

Small room, missing wallet, pushy staff and an impressive visit from the London fire brigade.

Clean and tidy.

All rooms were said to be 226 square feet. This was clearly not the case. Room was located in the roof and barely bigger than 140 square feet. We were told its an old building. They must have had smaller feet in the 1880s when they built it. To give them their due they did move us to a larger room, which was also 226 square feet (apparently), the second night. When moving rooms they offered to transfer our luggage. In doing so a wallet left in the room didnt seem to make the transfer across. The final morning we were awoken by a fire engine, and a fireman at the door. Whilst the fire staff dealt with a fire in the chimney stack we were actively encouraged to return to our room so we could pack and check out. Upon doing so multiple fireman then entered the room to check the chimney stack for heat. They didnt expect to find us there. Obviously. All in all an odd experience. Small room, missing wallet, pushy staff, and a visit from the local fire department.

Too many steps and no lift. WiFi difficult. Couldnt regulate room temperature. Room was extremely small.

Ok for a quick stop

Room had a good size, nice decoration and good facilities like complimentary water and tea/coffee, and enough storage for light travellers. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, and pub staff was friendly.

I asked for a quieter room and this was accommodated (appreciate that very much!) however the street is very noisy, close to both a Police and Fire station. Window doesn't do great in isolating noise from outside so I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers (it can get a little cold too). Room looked clean enough but bedding had some bad looking stains that put us off a little.

It was a central location perfect

Room cold, shower cold, food had to wait 30 mins to cook simple eggs also booked well in advance originally when I booked they allocated first floor room when I arrived was at the top floor I have back issues not happy! also I came alone but they took the money on the Monday and it said you could cancel 24 hours before not pleasant experience
