Loved/did not love this place

Pretty grounds and the restaurant is lovely - great dinner there.

Dark depressing hallway; room reeked of air freshener; HATE tub in shower bathrooms. Pool cushions needed a refresh. Generally a bit dated not in a retro way.

We had a wonderful stay and will stay here again.

Love the location and privacy of the property. The rooms very nice and roomy , the beds were comfortable . The bathrooms were big , loved the double sink and shower and the outside space was very pretty.

Cool, quiet hotel but not all rooms are up to snuff.

The location is great, close to restaurants and a busy area of town but somehow a very quiet and peaceful property. The bed was really comfortable and cloudlike, and the room had a separate bathtub that was very relaxing. I got an upgrade to a suite, which was nice. The grounds are well-kept, the koi pond is a vibey touch and the second pool is very relaxing and doesn't have the Motel 6 vibe of the pool by the entrance.

This is listed as a pet friendly hotel, but actually charges a $200 pet fee upon arrival. There are also signs everywhere that say dogs are not allowed. The color scheme of the hotel is a real eyesore: lime green, blue and brown. The feng shui of the room I was in was really off. The room was larger than I expected but the living room area and dining area outside of the bedroom were uninviting. The decor is dated and cheap looking. The bathroom was large but the fixtures were broken. A shower faucet handle fell off the wall while I was using it, there were missing tiles in the shower, and part of the bathtub faucet didn't work either. The restaurant has good breakfast and lunch but the dinner was abysmal: the service was bad and the food totally flavorless. It's a great property but beware: not all rooms are created equally. I've been in other suites on the property that were much nicer and seemed to have been updated more recently.
