Great home for a family of five. Nice, quiet neighborhood and close to public transit and grocery.

Quiet neighborhood and nice backyard. The kitchen was great and had all the items we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Our family of 5 was able to spread out. Great 5 minute walking distance to Lidl and bus stop.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Comfortable great stay with wonderful responsive owners

It had everything we needed to be comfortable while away from home. It was very spacious for 5. The owners responded very quickly when I messaged them about any questions or requests. Great stay in a lovely area!

It would be nice if the second shower was working but it was not offered as part of the rental. Also better pillows are needed. The back yard needs some redoing.

I absolutely enjoyed this property with my kids - we went for a two week vacation and loved everything about it. The area was great, it had a grocery store about a 5 minute walk, the train station was an easy access. (about a 10-15 minute walk, both Sunbridge or Grove Park train station) Although I didnt get to enjoy the backyard as much as I would have due to being out and about, it was large and beautiful. The area is very quiet and I did not hear the neighbours at all. I loved the local workers in the area both at the convince stores and a few great little restaurants all within walking distance, if needed. Olu was a great host, I was given all the information before arriving (I was nervous as it was my first big trip with my kids) and he checked in when necessary when needed. His cleaning lady arrived an hour before we left thinking we may have already left, she offered to come back but of course since we were done, I insisted she come stay! Seeing how sweet, how hard she worked to clean (even after we did a good job, that she pointed out) made me more confident the place is well taken care of and cleaned very properly before the our stay! we also had an issue with the washer that other reviews have pointed out, Olu relaxed the washer during our visit and that is no longer an issue. If this helps, we did the rapid wash and if needed put it on spin if needed, the other wash takes almost 4 hours lol! It was my first big trip with my kids and our stay made it great!

Superb

Better than I thought.

We liked mostly everything. The beds were super comfy, one has a TV in it. The bath was amazing, and the garden was fabulous. If the pond were fixed it would be an even more relaxing and beautiful. Truly a peaceful home.

The only complaint I have is that the water has chlorine in it, so you need to buy spring water. That's not a reflection on the service or the people that hosted us though. There's this little step before the kitchen's threshold that nearly took my toes off a few times lol. A small warning for that would be nice for future guests!

Poorly managed property.

We were cheated. The facilities mentioned ; two bathrooms and washing machine were unfortunately not properly checked and maintained. When we were there after a long flight and drive, we discovered a haphazardly written note stating that THE BATHROOM (with the standing shower) is BROKEN. DO NOT USE IT. I specifically chose this accommodation because of its shower standing area. Now could not use it. The other one was a baththub. I have a bad leg and back. I was not going to endanger myself by CLIMBING into the bath tub. Totally upsetting experience! Secondly, the washing machine was spoilt. Needed repair. The host did not even know this until AGAIN we discovered it. We put our clothes to wash from 8am and it was still washing at 5pm! The door was jammed! PREPOSTEROUS! Our holiday was wasted. Almost two days wasted as we HAD TO WAIT FOR THE PLUMBER...why is this our job????? Very bad accommodation. The only good thing was the manager, Olu. However, he was away in Qatar. He tried helping us via WhatsApp video call. He is trustworthy and helped us till we moved into a new accomodation across London in Canary Wharf. Olu is a good man. He managed to get our clothes (stuck in the washing machine) delivered the next day after the engineer came to repair and discovered that the door was faulty!!! This is not a holiday.
