Very good

Such an happy Christmas, once again

I come back each year to the New York Hotel, for one or two nights. Always a fantastic moment. Atmosphere, atmosphere... And a magnificent view.

I deeply deeply regret that the bathroom has been renovated (in the room that we have had this time) with such impersonal material, totally not coherent with the architecture of the building.

Passable

Passable stay in an iconic building, but the service is not worth the money.

I like the history of the building. Due to this, the real estate comes with a few downsides (e.g. almost not soundproof) which are acceptable in such real estates.

Within the room the furniture was partially broken and nails stood out of the table which led me to damage my clothes while sitting at the table.

Just try it!!

Th location with the metro nearby, the very friendly staff and the nice restaurant. This vintage hotel surrounded by water and modern buildings makes this all worth.

Location, history, staff

Two separate beds instead of the booked double bed. The funky smell in the room (sewage, mold) which I guess goes hand in hand with an old building because Ibhad the same experience the previous 2 stays.

Superb

It is the place we stay when we go to Rotterdam!

Unique style and location that differentiates it from the more modern hotels in which you could be anywhere on the planet. You are surrounded by history.

Did not impact me really, but it was clear that breakfast can get busy with queues for the egg station etc. The Basement bar staff were really not very organised when the bar was busy.

Great stay! Very friendly staff.

Great bed, nice room, great room service, very nice staff at the reception and in the bar/restaurant. Great location and very quiet. Near metro station.

Room was a bit dusty (lamps on the bedside table).
