Shocked for a singapore staycation especially when the trip inc. elderl in law to impress for resor

Location not too far from airport and has reasonably good view

Lack of amenities (tissues, hotel room amenities) and lack of ambience (smelly room due to nearby bbq and noisy at night still thus hard to rest when people outside near bbq still having a party and loud noises). I have requested for quiet room however unfortunately was not provided at check in. Comparing with different hotel during our holiday, this was not worth the price paid.

It's really noisy, at least during December/January. There are barbecue parties every evening till late night. So keep that in mind, if you're traveling with (smaller) children or want to have it a bit more quiet. The water parc must have been nice several years ago. Now, it's pretty rugged, though.

Fun Activity and Away from noise

There were quite a few mosquitos in the room. It could be because of the weather or so but overall our stay was enjoyable. My boys enjoyed the Wild Wet and it was a good fun activity.

Cleanness could be better. The oven was not provided in the room as well. I believe it is an essential part of the room because of the location of the resort. As there were quite a few options for the meal. If someone orders from outside then there should be something to warm the food.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The rooms have some great views and it is conveniently located to the shopping centre with plenty of options to eat and shop.

Service at reception for check in was very poor and time consuming. Staff were confused about payments and took payment from my card even though the room was already paid. Had to wait half an hour for the money to be reimbursed. The reception staff kept telling my family to leave the waiting area while we were trying to collect our luggage from the storage area. There was plenty of room in the reception area but instead the staff made people sit in the hot weather outside. The hotel rooms are a long walk and there are no concierge services available. The hotel is known to be a water park resort however be mindful entry is not free.
