The location is really good. The stuff was helpful if there where there.

I had the feeling the doors could open anytime or I could not open it. All is quite old. Ask for a quite room, some rooms are facing the restaurant and could be loud.

Won't be staying here again, not in a million years.

Location.

Only stairs to upper floor - not good with luggage. Room 201 is really noisy as it is immediately at the top of the stairs. You can hear people coming and going and talking all night long. Got virtually no sleep. The door at the bottom of the stairs slams and can be heard loud and clear. The bathroom is ridiculously small.

No elevator, rooms were tiny like coupes, no real seating in the room except for one flimsy stool, no view at all, cheap curtains, not at all the value for money.

The location is supreme without a single doubt. There is nice outdoor terrace in front you can sip your morning coffee with frankly rather basic breakfast while golden tanned beach goers pass you by the Ocean drive. These enhanced bodies makes you almost forget the scale of nationwide obesity :)

This is the second art deco hotel in South Beach that I've stayed and I think I'm giving up on them in general. As they all seem to be run down into ashes. With pretty much nothing authentic left but a facade of the building. Which is a real shame as in anywhere in Europe these boutique hotels along Collins avenue and Ocean drive would be the best looked after and most hip in town for romantic stay. Something similar to cozy b&b's of New England. Hope the day will come that general public (and investors) will realise the sentimental value of authentic heritage as opposed to faceless mediocrity of never-ending miles of chain hotels.
