Perfect place to stay when touring Reykjavik!

The location of the hotel is perfect for easy walking around Reykjavik. We easily walked to all of our favorite restaurants. The important tourist interests are all within walking distance of the hotel as well. The rooms had very comfortable beds and comforters. There is ample espresso provided in room. The bar is comfortable and makes tasty cocktails. We had fireworks visible every night from the hotel.

Parking in the city can be expensive. It is important to know the rules ahead of time.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Reykjavik. - ideal for exploring Iceland

Right in the centre of Reykjavik close to all restaurants and attractions. We couldnt have been closer. Its around the corner from bus stop 1 which is absolutely ideal. Really nice reception staff who assisted in helping us to plan our trips and gave recommendations . Bed was so comfy and slept really well. Lovely buffet breakfast and a gorgeous cozy bar with happy hour from 1600hrs to 1900hrs. They also will make you sandwiches if you are going on a long tour which is handy.

Shower a tiny bit small but nice all the same. Breakfast could go till 11am every day. Its 10am every day and 11am on Sundays. It would be nice if you could get simple lunch or even pastries/cakes in bar as drinks are only served and you have to go Into town to get food .

Very good

Clean and quiet but well located to tourist activities. Everything was smooth and easy with check-in and check-out. The staff were welcoming and the room had good storage space and amenities. It was warm and comfortable and the shower, while small, had good water pressure.

Outlets were lacking. It would have been nice to have a coat hook and a couple hooks in the bathroom for drying a swimsuit and towel. The TV reception was poor.

Excellent location, breakfast and comfortable beds.

The hotel's location was brilliant for what I had planned for my trip. They also gave me a room with a bath, which i had requested when booking the room. I loved the breakfast as the choices and quality of the food were excellent and well worth the money. In addition, the room and the bed were warm and comfortable.

Most of the reception staff (except for one) were a little on the unfriendly side. I did not find a lounge to relax outside of my room.

Good hotel, just not 4 stars

Amazing location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

This property is advertised as a four star hotel but it is not. The rooms are tiny, although this is expected for Europe. However, our rooms were dusty and the wooden floor dingy and scratched up. The hairdryer and nightlight were broken. Curtains were hanging off hinges. We notified the hotel staff about the nightlight but nothing was done. Overall, this is a decent hotel, just not 4 stars.

Very good

A perfect spot to experience all that Reykjavik has to offer.

Location was perfect. Property and our room was clean and staff helpful. We did t use any of the facilities but this was because we had alternative arrangements and wanted to experience all that Reykjavik had to offer.

Nothing we didnt like.
