The hotel looked nice and was the cleanest during our stay in India.

Unfortunately, the host was rather rude. Even though he initially said we could use the washing machine on the terrace, he scolded us when we took the initiative. After that, we avoided him and did our laundry independently to steer clear of more conflicts. The host had many rules, which made our stay a bit challenging. We couldn't access the common area as it was consistently closed. Additionally, our room's entrance was on the other side of the building, not the main entrance, and we didn't get keys to the outside doors. We had to keep them open all the time, which made us feel unsafe.

I would go back anyday.

They do their best to make you feel welcome and to see to your needs. Munna prepared healthy and very tasty breakfasts always checking in advanced what you may or may not like. Plus he is interested in your journey without being overbearing. The place is well looked after and you feel safe and comfortable.

Due to the design of the house you can hear the people going about and you don't feel like making much noise not to disturb others. But at night is super quiet so sleep is absolutely no problem.

Property with character in a good location

It was small ( it only five bedrooms ) away from the hustle and bustle and had character ( not one of those soulless hotels ).

The man in charge was a little abrupt at times. He was a great cricket fan and listened to matches on his phone while we ate. Although he was a great cook, his breakfast selection was limited.

Munna, the resident manager/chef was on point with continental, punjabi and Bangali breakfasts. Absolutely delicious.

Brilliant BnB

A wonderful BnB in a very nice part of Kolkata. The accommodation is tucked away on a quiet side road, so there is no noise disturbance. Good sized rooms, and very clean. Kettle in room, use of large kitchen and washing machine. The host Munna is an absolute star, very, very helpful, and a great unofficial tour advisor. Although breakfast was included, we also had dinner on two nights. Munna's cooking is superb, the best food we have had in India, all cooked to order and so tasty.

Tasteful interior, spacious rooms, cozy, homely atmosphere, delicious breakfast, super friendly staff. Highly recommende

The tasteful interior and the quality of the rooms rivals most 5-star hotels while maintaining a cozy, homely atmosphere. Munna who manages the place goes out of his way to make you feel welcome: waited for us even though we arrived very late, gives instructions to drivers, personally prepares a delicious breakfast (even went out shopping to get some vegan options). Highly recommended!

The Experience from booking to Checkin and stay exceeded my expectations, my best stay in Kolkata over 10 days ,the room was well appointed ,Very clean all facilties and more than I needed, Breakfast cooked by Munna and his willingness to help in anything ,I'll be back again and recommend to everyone

Comfortable home.

It's in a peaceful community. The entrance has lots of green. A wary kitten will greet you. The manager is rugged mood but understaning.

They will do better if they pay attention to detailed cleaning. the rooms on the ground floor are bit hard in rainy season. Learn that room odors require fundamental cleaning and cannot be eliminated with temporary sprays. anyway I feel comfortable that they gave to change to a room on the first floor.
