Lovely Place to Stay

Everything was lovely and clean and being there at Christmas looked very beautiful.

This is my own personal opinion and I know would not be of a concern to others, but I feel breakfast should be included when a place offers breakfast (my husband felt differently to me on this). As said personal opinion. Also it was lovely having the four poster bed with curtains hanging down etc, but was not conducive to being able to see the TV on the wall as the curtains were in the way. So pretty to look at etc, but not practical

Hidden gem

Warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. Extremely informative and helpful in advising how to get around the city and things to see. Room was clean and warm, everything you needed was included. Lots of space. Location was ideal and parking around the property is free. Close to transport links. Close enough to city to walk in but far enough out so quiet in the evenings.

Great place and I had a lovely stay!

Good location close to the city centre. The owner Craig was very welcoming and really nice. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.

I learned upon my arrival, that the facilities were outside of the room, which was unclear on my booking.

Today's rain tomorrow's whisky

Hello, I only spent one night in Craigmillar Park, but I was positively impressed by the comfort and calm of the guest house. The rooms are very pleasant and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. An early start in the morning meant I didn't test the breakfast, but the menu was very tempting. Craigmillar Park is located on one of the main routes into the town centre. It takes half an hour to walk to Victoria, but there are bus services that take you into town in ten minutes for 2 GBP. Few good Pubs around is also to be mentioned. I'm saving this place for another visit to Edinburgh and hope to stay a little longer to do a distillery tour. I was forgetting: today's rain tomorrow's whisky. Quite a programme!

Outstanding and on practically every bus route

The property was absolutely spotless with a very warm welcome. In fact we felt just like home we should take our shoes off in the entrance hall. Super comfy bed with soft linen, plush towels and nice little touches for a very relaxing comfortable stay.100% we would love to come back and stay.

Everywhere was so so clean with a gorgeous selection of teas. We felt really bad with nowhere to put the used teabag. Find this everywhere we stay. By no means a negative remark.

Great place to stay. Great host, super comfortable.

The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our room was on the top floor and facing out the back. The bed was very comfortable. The host was very welcoming. There are regular buses into the city centre, but we walked. Parking was in a side street but easy to find.
