Yarra Accommodation

We were disappointed with the accommodation and believe it to be false advertsiting.. I have some serious concerns about security and communication from the owner too. We expected we were stayingin a hotel, however upon arrival we had to phone the owner. She did not specify a time, i phoned her and she said she was 20 minutes away. I had to wait (and pay for parking) while i waited for her. I'd enquired about overnight parking via text, and she claimed that there was a $30 additional fee, despite the unit having its own space. Upon arrival she, (she didnt apologise for the hold up, only that it wasn't her fault). She asked me to follow her around the back in my car to the car space. We had no idea wehre we were going. She took us to our room (one key). Upon entry, there is a living area, kitchen and the room with ensuite off the living area. She proceeds to tell us that she is staying there too and the other room off the living area is her room!!! She says something about not usually staying when there are couples, so she wont sleep there tonight, usually she does. This is not acceptable and poses a huge security concern not to mention shocking communciation. We only found this out as we entered the room! It was incredibly awkward, as i was late now for a meeting, my wife had to remain in the room and continune her work, feeling completely uncomfortable as the owner was in her room. We only had one key, once i left i coudnt get back up the lift if i wanted to. I received a message from her later to say we had to be out by 10. I told her booking.com says 12. So she said she'ed be at the apartment at 11:50. We left first thgin in the morning and left the keys in thr oom. We just wnated to get out. Anyone thinking aobut staying here needs to understand it bascially an air bnb, with the owner living in the apartment. The fee of $191 a night is crazy.
