Very good

Although it was only overnight it was a very pleasant experience.

Situated in an ideal location, clean room and ensuite. Excellent selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. Excellent value and all staff were friendly and helpful.

Superb

Welcoming, comfortable and the hosts were grea, especially Lee.

The welcome and the fact that nothing was any trouble. I felt well looked after and as I was alone it was important I felt comfortable. Bedroom was comfortable and cosy.

A little tired in places but it didnt mean it was something I didnt like. I wasnt looking for luxury.

I appreciate its an old building but rooms need a re vamp if you are charging 117 .

Bar staff excellent very friendly and helpful . Good breakfast

Not worth 117 a night. Small room ok but was too cluttered. Pillows were far too hard. Other guests said the same.

shower very noisy, floor insulation relatively poor, so could hear restaurant setting up downstairs early morning ( shfting chairs). Note to staff: shower drain is slow, needs clearing.

Very basic accommodation, cramped, noisy bar below, poor food

Location, good amount of parking

Extremely basic accommodation. Strange odour throughout. We were told there were no bar snacks available on arrival (despite the sign) and there was a very small window for dinner because there was a party that evening. It would have been nice to have been warned! Noisy party downstairs went on til midnight, lots of shouting and karaoke etc with practically zero soundproofing to bedrooms. Room was small, very basic, bed uncomfortable. Bathroom clean but cramped with awful shower (practically zero water pressure). Breakfast was really poor - a few Kelloggs variety boxes, a tired looking fruit salad, orange juice which was actually squash. Eggs on toast were anaemic and extremely salty. Main host was friendly but the place needs a lot of attention, sadly not a comfortable stay at all and cant recommend.
