The perfect sweet end to the year!

The property is disconnected from all the city noise which makes it a perfect resort to unwind and relax during your holiday. About the staff: the staff believes is customer service and are strong on keeping them happy. The owners Kamal and Amila and their entire support staff looked after us so well. Infact they treated guests as their own members The staff customises food taste as per your preferences and are ready to assist whenever needed

This was the perfect place for us in Bentota!

It is a friendly and relaxed place and the pool is amazing as is the sunset over the river. The team were ever ready to help us and the food was delicious (and good value next to other places). The beach and town are a short tuk tuk ride away. Thanks to Kamal, Amila, Nuwan, Saman, Kumara and all. I highly recommend this small peaceful getaway.

Wonderful nature hangout...

It was very relaxing place and nice pool. We enjoyed morning boat ride which was very nice.

Bfast we asked Sri lankan for both days but first day we got English bfast and 2nd day they agreed to give Sri lankan bfast but when we came for bfast at 8 am guy offered us same English bfast again. We were shocked and My friend was very disappointed as they already confirmed SL BFAST before evening. While we WERE expecting SL BFAST He mentioned they can give SL bfast but it'll take time. However after 5 minutes he served us what we asked fish curry, coconut sambol and dhal curry and we still can't figure out why he not gave us what we requested at first time and how they prepared foods within 10 minutes if they not done as the guy explained. We were very confused. why that uncomfortable situation and given customers disappointment. We were in this place 6 years ago and we went back again to enjoy it and collect nice memories as we love this place. Overall It was a wonderful place and we had nice lunch in our first day. However after all we had lovely Sri lankan bfast and thank you very much.

Perfect hotel experience. - spacious comfy rooms - nice terrace with the view to the river - pool (it was cleaned every day) - very friendly and helpful staff, welcomed us with fresh juice and then helped with laundry and other requests - amazing food (especially fresh fish for dinner) - river boat safari directly from hotel was additional great things we tried.

It is not close to the beach, but it takes 8 minutes by tuk-tuk which hotel organized for the reasonable price.

Waterside was a lovely surprise. Service is delivered with grace and style of times lost.

Waterside is an oasis. It provides a great spot to really relax. The open dining, living area and beautifully kept pool flow into the mature garden, bang on the river. Bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size, finished with Old School quality and touches.

Nice surprise in this price range

Nice and quiet place next to river. Good swimming pool. Owner very helpful. Organises river safari directly from hotel.

We stayed only one night, did not find any problems. For dinner they offered only fried rice, but you can eat in town.

Very good

Amazing staff, so friendly and accommodating. They let us check in at 4am due to our flight times! Waited up for us to ensure we were looked after when we arrived. Rooms are massive and the pool is beautiful.Great balcony as well.

Gr8 stay for a gr8 price.

The location is beautiful it is right on the lake and you get to see a beautiful Sunrise and Sunset every day, the menu is limited, however, the chef has an excellent hand at what he does, you must try the string hoppers and other local delicacies that he cooks.

Apart from the fact that you cannot walk to the property after sundown as it's quite inside there is nothing much to not like.

Beautiful riverside hotel with great service

Really high standard hotel,we were very satisfied!! Perfectly clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and proper european standard bathroom with bath tub. Personel was also great and we enjoyed delicious food. Perfectly located at the river. You can do a boat tour on the river
