Superb

It was the first hotel in Sri Lanka where we spent 5 days. The staff is friendly , the location of the hotel is good , the breakfasts were tasty

we had problems with air conditioning in our room , and because of this, the bed was very wet, sleeping on it was dangerous for health. we asked the staff to change the mattress , the problem was solved .

Poor for Sri Lanka

Room was large and spacious.

The sheets had stains on them, the bathroom smelled really badly of damp and the check in process was a bit of a joke. No one was there to greet us and our driver had to phone the property. We were asked to choose our room which made us wonder how long those sheets had been on the bed. No one gave us the wifi password when we arrived so we had to wait until the morning. The bed nets had holes in them but luckily we didn't need them. Generally over priced for Sri Lanka and had far better rooms and service in the other places we stayed in. Would not recommend at these prices.

Amazing location, in a quite green area just 3 mins walk from Una Watuna Beach. Nicest hostess, always super clean, any request was done within a moment

Helpful staff

The people who work there were really helpful, when we had any questions or request they always went above and beyond to meet our needs.

We changed the rooms - first we were in Economy room but it was quite unpleasant (wholes around the windows etc.), so we asked for a Deluxe room which was very good!

So so base in a touristic hotspot

The manager was friendly and open to feedback. Breakfast was ok.

Misleading photos

Helpful staff.

The photos don't show the real rooms and facilities. The building looks different, rooms need renovation and the property was messy. It was so noisy during the night! Not recommending :/

Overall we would recommend Villa watuna

Location good having a jungle vibe about it but not far from beach and restaurants. Breakfast was okay. There is a slight room for improvement.

We had a couple of evening meals at Watuna due to heavy rain and it making it difficult to get out to eat. These could certainly have been better, in fact, the second night I couldnt eat mine but no recompense was suggested.
