Superb

Everything was very good. It was ideal for a family stay and exceptional value. Good location and clean. We were very happy with our accommodation.

Mold :(

We spent 6 nights here (big family with 3 kids). Hosts were very kind and breakfast was delicious. Location is very close to the main street, but at the same time peaceful.

I am not very demanding - I don't mind cold water in the shower, not perfectly clean sheets or old fridge. But what I cannot accept is mold in the room where I sleep with small kids. Both rooms were moldy on the ceiling and walls and the smell was terrible :(

Big comfortable rooms in the centre of Unawatuna

Great location in a quiet lane off the Main Street in Unawatuna. Close to the beach, cafs and shops. The host organised our airport pick up and met us on arrival so we could find the guesthouse. The room was huge (biggest weve stayed in so far) with a big bathroom and balcony too. They are polished concrete rooms so super cool on a summers day plus they have AC and fan. There was also a fridge and kettle in the room. Breakfast was also massive, a huge pot of tea/coffee with eggs and toast or pancake and fruit (it changes). The family that own the place are really friendly. We were so happy staying here and will definitely be back.

Nothing we didnt like Things to note - The wifi wasnt super fast in the room as we were on the top floor but it didnt matter because we didnt want to be on our phones all the time anyway. There are some repairs happening on the place but they did not bother us. The are getting ready for season time after suffering a lot of loss due to covid etc.

For the price the room was beautiful, lovely balcony, good aircom, only problem was wifi didnt reach room on top floor, not a bother as got a Sri Lankan sim card. Location is excellent, tucked down a side street off the main beach road. Hosts are lovely. Kettle and fridge in room and plenty of English plug sockets. Cant beat it for the price

Seems the norm in Sri Lanka but room not cleaned during 14 day stay, towel change only once
