Comfortable stay, warm & gracious hosts

Its a great location and area surrounded by greenery. We particularly enjoyed the balcony in the room overlooking the neighbourhood. The room is clean and functional. Mohit and Pranali are wonderful hosts with great attention to detail. Villa Agastya is a beautiful house that they have painstakingly put together. We enjoyed breakfast time in the gazebo everyday with tea and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our chats their recommendations and suggestions were great. Saving the best part for last their lovely dogs Angel, Coco, Scott and Rambo from next doors are great company. Its a good place to stay if youre looking for a non-touristy place to stay in the quiet villages of the South.

Portuguese inspired Villa

We stayed at Villa Agastya which is located at Betalbatim Goa. Its a homestay hosted by a wonderful couple and their three dogs. They moved to Goa from Pune few years ago and welcome people from across the globe by sharing their house to experience the life of Goa like a local. The stay includes a variety of scrumptious breakfast in their Gazebo surrounded by greenery. It's a perfect getaway if you want to experience slow life and enjoy some quiet. The Villa is surrounded by Cashew, Mango, Coconut, Chickoo trees and many flower plants. And beach is just 10min away. The homeowners helped us plan the places to visit and restaurants to eat at during the stay It is 1.8km away from Betalbatim beach. If you are someone you likes less crowded beaches , this one's for you. Colva beach is around 4km away while Palolem is an hour travel by road You can order homemade food or walk to restaurant- Cota Cozinha nearby to eat Martin's Corner and Fishka Restaurant are also good choice for eating nearby Do stay here if you are in South Goa

There were dogs owned by neighbor properties, so walking around to the beach was little difficult cos they would bark. However the homeowners helped us with booking taxi and auto for nearby travel since I dint know to ride a bike

It will be a perfect place for you if youre especially looking for some quiet, peaceful time :)

The atmosphere of the place was very calming and peaceful for me. Exactly what I wanted :) The hosts were really sweet, caring and thoughtful; the location was perfect to explore everything around, and it makes the commute to beaches easy; the room was really clean, cute and peaceful with all essential commodities.

It was all really nice. I dont think there was anything that I can point and say it wasnt good. I had enjoyed my stay peacefully.

Fantastic Stay

This property is located in a peaceful and quite neighbourhood. Just the way we wanted. The owners were very welcoming and made sure our stay was pleasant in every way. The room, washroom and outdoor is spacious, well maintained and clean. 10/10 to the home cooked breakfast. We felt very much at home. We would definitely love to visit again.
