Good place to stay in the Venice canals.

Great location. Spacious place. Nice kitchen.

The furniture was dated. There was no TV in the main sitting area. The beds in the smaller rooms were only full size, hard to fit two adults in them.

Luxury house and furniture with all necessary facilities as advertised.

The house included a second bathroom containing a shower over a bath and a toilet on the first floor serving the two very large bedrooms as well as the ensuite bathroom serving the main bedroom. A guest toilet and hand basin on the ground floor was appreciated. The kitchen had been renovated with a huge 4 door fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and upright gas oven/hotplates. A washing machine and separate dryer were in the garage and conveniently accessed from the kitchen. The house was clean on arrival with lots of towels which we always appreciate. We loved the artwork hanging on the walls together with the owners family photos a lot of thought had been put into the interior design. The furniture was of a high quality with very comfortable bedding and chairs/couches. Timber floors were decorated with colourful rugs. The house was an architectural gem with its unusual two floors and a mezzanine for TV entertainment. The strong internet/WiFi was available throughout the house. We were concerned since booking 12 months ago that there was no air conditioning, although every room had a modern vertical fan. We were pleased to experience highs of only 23 deg C and overnight lows of 15 deg C together with cool sea breezes the house was always pleasant. Bedroom windows were fitted with fly wire insect screens. Private gardeners maintained the outside on two occasions during our stay. The owners representative, Laurence, was always immediately available either via the web site or by sms. We enjoyed our stay.

Very good

I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in LA.

This is a fabulous house in a great location. It was 5 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes to Abbot Kinney boulevard. The owners responded to any queries immediately. We loved our stay.

No complaints at all.

Disappointing

Disappointed in the property management response to health and safety issues.

Location was awesome, property layout was great.

It was surface clean but overall dirty (if my housekeeper cleaned like this I would replace her) with a great deal of deferred maintenance. The smoke detector started chirping on Friday evening, when management was contacted the inappropriate advice was to remove the battery on a hard wired alarm which did not stop the chirping. We were told no one was available to attend to the problem until the following day. This was particularly concerning due to the multiple extension cords linked together in violation of fire safety codes. When the young lady came the next afternoon to replace the battery, it was determined that the unit itself had failed. It was finally replaced on Sunday morning.
