The linens were dirty and stained.
There was an odor as soon as you entered the room.
Had to ask thrice for a second towel which was initially denied by the staff in the first instance!!!
Mall road is around a 20 mins drive from the place and you have to park your vehicle at the side of the road, they have no secured in-house parking.
The geyser was not working.
They initially offered to give us another room in the morning(around 8 AM)telling us another family was going to check out.
We ordered breakfast in the meanwhile, and the service was abysmally slow, we got breakfast after 45 mins of placing the order. When we requested a partial repeat of the same order ,we were told it would take at least half an hour more!!!
Around 10AM, we asked again about the status of the room and were told no rooms were empty yet!
We were offered a crude heating rod with no plug attached to it, just looked risky to even plug in with the naked wire endings, seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.
We were supposed to leave for Shimla that morning, called our hotel there, requesting an early check in as soon as we got confirmation we left the premises within 15 mins! Just glad to be out of the place!
The max I would pay for such a place is 800-1000/- per night definitely not 2000/- + per night
