Its a nice hotel. I would go there again and also recommend my friends choose Tune Stay Kyoto

This hotel is gorgeous! Its near Kyoto station and theres also bus station in front of the hotel ( the bus could go to Shimogamo shrine). The location is great. The staffs are nice. The room we booked is not big but very quiet, clean and comfortable. There are many nice books introducing Japan and Kyoto in their library. We love the atmosphere in this hotel, especially after the whole day trip, we did feel relaxed when we went back the hotel.

Super unique stay in Kyoto with a great location.

This hotel was in a great location, near Kyoto station. The rooms were small, as expected in Japan, but the shared living spaces were incredible.

No bathtub in the room, but you could reserve a private bath on the property.

Nice interior and Edgy Hotel which play short movie daily and good collections of books

The location is super close to Kyoto station, they have basement kitchen that we can cook our own food. I especially like the short movie program and the book collections, they have also popcorn during the movie time.

I wish Tune Stay has more choice of movie of the short film. I actually pretty often go to Tune Stay maybe twice or 4 times in a year and I recognize, they play similar movie. I wish tune stay has more movie collection to be played. I feel that in winter on this December, the basement area is pretty cold, so I wish if it has more heating in that area, people will feel comfortable to eat and stay at that area.

Excellent stay in a well-designed boutique hotel that was classy, homely and welcoming.

I really enjoyed the boutique feel of the hotel so much so that I extended my stay for 2 days more. Loved how this hotel has a kitchen which was excellent for someone like me who stayed for a week! Love the place. Do keep the vibe! Love how quiet it is despite the number of guests. Only suggestion is to do a better "orientation" for new guests - especially on how to clean and dry the dishes they use after cooking and wiping up the kitchen hob. Also, the bookstore idea is lovely... but I only saw Japanese books. There is a great bookstore at the Kyoto station that has a good selection of English- Japanese titles. Perhaps something like that would be great. The evening short film screenings were amazing - great selections!

The first room I stayed had a double bed - so the room felt really small. (to be fair, we were warned) but the second room I booked had a double bunk bed - which made the room more spacious. So if you're travelling in a party of 2, try the bunk beds instead. It was very comfortable for a single person.

Great size of rooms for Japan. I could not believe all of the extra value that came with this hotel. From short film screening to a very functioning laundry service, this hotel is beyond our expectations. Also dont sleep on the Gin bar. Some of the best cocktails Ive had ever

Excellent boutique hotel for the price. Do stay affordable & classy!

I had initially stayed at a hostel in Kyoto for 3 nights but decided to try a new place. No regrets at all. This excellent boutique hotel is a great blend of affordable accommodation with well-designed and classy facilities. The vibe was entirely different from the hostel even though pricing-wise, it was just a tad more expensive! So i was pleasantly surprised. Loved the stay so much that I extended another 2 days - instead of returning to Osaka. Would definitely return here again. Close to Kyoto Station. Very convenient. Lovely vibes. Helpful staff.
