Housekeeping nonexistent. Hilton policy is housekeeping every five days, which I am fine with. On an eight-day stay, I had to request housekeeping on day six because my room was not serviced on day five. It appeared the plan was not to service any rooms if housekeeping was not requested. Housekeeping did not leave clean towels or change the sheets. Had to fight for my booking.com rate. Tru wanted to charge me the standard rate. It took several conversations with the front desk staff (issue not resolved) then a call to booking.com, and a call to Tru by Hilton customer service to resolve. I probably spent a total of four hours, and much consternation, on this problem. The room did not have a comfortable chair to sit in. It only had a desk chair. It had no drawer storage; no traditional closet. One side of the bed had a traditionally-sized night stand. The other side had a tiny aqua pedestal with six-sided top. There was no surface large enough to open a suitcase on except the bed. The desktop was about 16x24. The furniture is of the cheapest quality. On Saturday morning, we left early to attend an event. We were going to grab a coffee and OJ to take with us. At 5:58 am, when we got to the lobby, the desk clerk was asleep in the chair, and the phone ringing. The service area for breakfast was still closed and dark and it appeared breakfast would not be ready in 2 minutes. We left without our beverages.
