Heavenly. Exceeded expectations. Perfect honeymoon.

From the moment we arrived with knew we had found a hidden gem. From the friendly staff welcome to the refreshing drink given on arrival- we were so happy. Our room was stunning (beach bungalow - would recommend). Food was delicious at the roots restaurant. Breakfast was nice and generous. Everything was charged to the room so you didnt have to worry about having your wallet on you. The Thai massages at the spa were epic and the hotel operates on this new app which works really well. It really felt like a small slice of heaven. It was more than we usually spend on a hotel but if you can afford it - id book it ! We hope to be back for our 10 year wedding anniversary!

Nothing! Only thing is the hotel shares a beach with their sister resort. Which is good because you have access to their facilities however it does mean kids are about!

Not reflective of the luxury price tag. Feel like we are held to ransom

Room is really special and unique, surrounded by peaceful jungle setting. It is one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in.

-Very expensive accommodation (3-7 times the price of other places we stayed in Thailand) and yet when you are here you feel like they have held you to ransom charging you at every opportunity. Aside from the room, there was no luxury or exclusivity which you would expect from paying such a vast amount. - The night before we checked out we received a letter from the hotel telling us to check out by 8.30am, an hour before our boats departure. This approach is not something we would expect from a 5-star hotel and if there was a valid reason the hotel should have explained it to us rather than just serving us with a letter. All this did was put us in a bad mood for our dinner that evening on the last night of our stay - we asked the receptionist for paracetamol on one day, a request that was essentially ignored. Had to go to Paradise resort next door to ask for paracetamol. This shouldnt happen. - we requested mosquito spray, and same female receptionist gave us hers but asked us to use a tiny bit before directing us to shop on site to buy our own. At over 500 per night, surely this hotel can provide this free of charge -were told everyday they would be a turndown, we stayed 3 nights and turndown happened once! -When you stay here you are stuck, no where to go and hence you have to book all activities through the hotel which they charge double for in comparison to Thailand going rates. -most communal areas are shared with the hotel next door which has children! This includes 2/3 restaurants. We thought we booked an adults only stay and yet there were children everywhere. -we only had 1 bath towel for 2 people for most of our stay. -Room clean was very late everyday (occurred around 3-4pm). -Only freebies included within our 500 per night stay was some fizzy cans of drink, breakfast, 1 yoga class and 1 snorkel trip. This is really not a luxury inclusive offering and we will not recommend staying here for the price being charged.

Perfect Place to relax chill and for some haiking arround the Jungel. The place is quiet and full with annimals like butterfly, Cacadu birds etc. Absolutly perfect to completed switch off

Amazing stay with some potential improvements

Its the most amazing hotel weve stayed in. So unique and the surroundings are beautiful. Feels so peaceful. The staff and the roots restaurant is also beautiful.

The trips are underwhelming - a snorkelling trip with no snorkelling and dropped at a super touristy beach for 2 hours. We complained but it didnt feel like they were surprised we didnt have a good time so I think they know the trips are below expectations.

When is low tide, the sea is not so nice. However is not the fault of the resort.

This amazing hotel exceeded our expectations. It was the most luxurious room we have ever stayed in, the private pool is the perfect spot to relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food delicious and there are lots of excursions and activities. We hired a longtail boat for the day which was a lot of fun. It was the perfect setting for our Honeymoon!

The most perfect hotel ever

The most magical places Ive ever stayed. The treehouses themselves are stunning - thought has been put into every part so you can truly relax. The beds are so comfortable, the room is spacious and the two levels with the private pool is so fun! Its also not clear on here but the resort itself is fantastic. So many places to chill, by the pool or the beach, the restaurant is fantastic, staff are amazing, and theres so much to do if you dont want to just sunbathe. Cant wait to come back!

Possibly more vegetarian Thai options at breakfast but really everything is great!

A definite must stay. Exceptional. - Couple Aged 30

An exceptional stay if you are looking for a bit of paradise! We stayed here to celebrate part of our honeymoon and my wifes 30th and had an incredible time. The treehouse villa is incredible and definitely worth the money. Every detail is very thought out and it is stunning. Also, the bed is very comfortable and you are given a selection of pillow choices Food quality and selection was excellent. Really good food from all the restaurants available. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond. They decorated the room on our arrival as it was our honeymoon- and then also assisted surprising the wife with decorating the bedroom on her birthday whilst we were at dinner. Sunrise views and scenery is stunning Good choice of activities for an additional fee - kayak / paddle boarding / painting / cooking etc Would 100% recommend

Absolutely no complaints whatsoever - the resort was incredible. A simple suggestion - the option to slightly heat the villa plunge pools. We visited in November and the pool was quite cold in the evenings. Would have been extra special to sit and relax in the villa with a warmer pool! But thats just us being picky!
