Superb

The reception was amazing! The staff were great and they helped with everything I needed. This was unlike any other hostel I have been due to the activities that the reception area provided. It was relatively big-sized and had two games, darts and pool. Which, when combined by the great atmosphere of the people you meet there and the helpful and friendly environment that the staff provide, is more than enough. Met plenty of friends, this hotel is a MUST if you're in Berlin!

There wasn't much that I did not like. However it was very obvious that my roommates were high and were smoking in the dorms (however with windows open, which was appreciated). This was not allowed by the hostel but I preferred not to say anything since the roommates were very kind and that wasn't a big problem for me.

Everything was great, except the water in the bathrooms on the 5th floor - at moments it just won't flow for 5-10 minutes, making taking a shower impossible.

Well, it is a hostel, so some noise is expected. Our two person room with private bathroom was okay.

Checking in and drinking something in the evening in the community room was all good.

The terrace next to the entrance was filled the first night until 1 o'clock with people singing and playing guitar. We where asleep after a long day in Berlin. Until someone shouted very hard to be quiet the noise stopped and the people went indoors. There they started talking loud, laughing, using doors the hard way, and more loud talking in the hallways. This lasted until 3 o'clock in the night. I was awake all the time. The next two nights where okay for me, but then my wife was awake. Sounds like a huge ventilation system was running at night and more people talking loudly indoors.

A nice enough hostel with friendly staff members

The staff members were extremely friendly, the facilities were good, and the bed was comfortable. Another highlight was the common area which was very spacious and great for socialising.

If you walk to this hostel using Google Maps, just be aware that it does not actually take you to the hostel. You need to type in the street name instead and then find the hostel on your own. The location is fine but still a fair walk away from most of the tourist attractions.

Very good

The location is very good, close to the center and various metro and bus lines. Two big super markets are very close. The beds are comfortable and each has a lamp, shelf, and electricity outlet. Lockers are spacious.

There is no kitchen or even refrigerator. The bathrooms and showers could be cleaner.

Great Berlin choice

I had a little private attic room to myself. I loved it! So comfortable, roomy and with my own bathroom and shelves and hanging rail for my coat and items. Each time I came back to my room, I was so happy to be there! My own little space in Berlin. Easy access to the S-Bahn station and walking distance from Pottsdamer Platz. A great choice.

I didn't realise that there was a lift at first! That first walk up five flights with my bags was a bit brutal, so glad I discovered the teeny lift after that.

Excellent - would book again

Excellent bathroom facilities, excellent beds and very clean. Met some great people here and an excellent atmosphere. In a terrific spot. If I ever get the chance to come back to Berlin, this is where Im staying again!!

Some staff did seem a little ruder to tourists and seemed annoyed when we needed assistance.
