For the travelers who value comfort, friendly service, and a breakfast that could fuel a dragon

Forget your soggy cereal and lukewarm coffee routines. Breakfast was a smorgasbord fit for royalty (or at least a really hungry traveler). I even discovered a new love for smoked salmon. Staff was friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. The room was on the smaller side, but it was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and had everything.

Family New Years Eve trip

Friendly staff, cosy room, good quality toiletries and tea making facilities. Comfy bed and proper shower. Nice touches such as letter from manager and New Year gifts. Nice breakfast.

Only one gripe was not to have a mirror light in bathroom, so it was quite hard to see when I put on make up but not a major issue.

Outstanding staff, great location & beautifully presented accommodation.

Everything was really well presented & smart. The room was really lovely & perfect for our needs. Every member of staff was super friendly & helpful & made us feel really welcome. They really made it a superb stay.

Fab stay at the Scholar

Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful and could not have done enough to make our stay better. The food was excellent, we had the breakfast, a lunch and a dinner and the quality and service was excellent.

The shower could have been a little cleaner but this did not detract from a great few days away.

Location was perfect with bus outside,clean and comfortable and modern

Water in shower was barely luke warm,coffee machine in room broken,wrong top on hairdrier that didnt fit and when I asked for scrambled eggs on toast for a breakfast I had paid for it was the smallest portion ever!and barely warm.The plate was half empty
