No other hostel I would stay in on phi phi

I stayed here over Christmas and loved my stay here. The staff are so kind and helpful I stayed in another property over nye and wish I had stayed here instead. I read previous reviews and was a bit sceptical but found no problems with the bathroom being outside of the room? They have two options in each room and then added options down stairs if the ones in the room are full it was full over Christmas and I had no problem showering or using the bathroom in my dorm. It's close to the pier so handy if you had a backpack phi phi is a small island so it takes a matter of minutes to walk to the busy bars and restaurants this was the perfect location for me as you could party and then come back and sleep.

The beds are very hard but I got used to them after 4 nights but I do think this is just down to preference also the pillow was a little bit but again that's down to my preference. The cleaning could be a little noisy in the morning as could other guest but that can be expected in a big dorm.

the location was very good to all the restaurants and the beach but was still very quiet and relaxing away from all the noise of phi phi nightlife. they had big lockers with a lock provided. complimentary tea and coffee which was very nice

the rooms are very small and crowded for the amount of beds in the rooms. no hot water with the showers.

Fantastic Hostel !

The Staff were very friendly and very lovable people. They were constantly helping out everyone. They offered us a private room for a day. The room was cozy, good clean beds too !!

The showers and restrooms were a bit small, but it's a hostel and wasn't too bad.

Wouldn't book again

The beds seemed to be clean and they had complimentary coffee and bananas for breakfast. The location is very good, it's close to everything.

My friends and I traveled around Thailand including Bangkok by plane and checked in in all kind of hotels by a Thai driving license without any problems but apparently in this hostel it's not acceptable. They almost refused to check me in for one night with the license and passport photo but then finally they accepted it after a phone conversation with their boss. During and after check in the staff was giving bad attitude and unpleasant comments about this situation. There are only two decent toilets, it's not very comfortable cuz the hostel is fully booked and there's lots of people. There are extra toilets and showers downstairs but they're not so clean and there are no doors, just plastic partitions with no locks . The bunks are not comfortable if you're having a top one the whole thing with shake every time someone climbs up their bed. In conclusion, I believe the price and 9/10 rating is creating expectations they don't meet.
