Amazing!

Big room and comfortable beds. Loved the shower and its big shower head. The water pressure was great! Loved the complimentary toiletries, tea bags and slippers. The staff was nice and polite.

The close proximity of the hotel to Omiya metro station.

Taking the lifts from the reception to your level can be challenging during peak hour times (such as when checking out before 10am).

Clean and comfortable rooms, well-placed for sightseeing and close enough to the main attraction of the city. All the cosmetics and bathroom products (e.g. bathrobe, toothbrush, towel etc) that we needed during our stay were available in the lobby of the hotel

Great Hotel

Staff were very helpful and filled out our luggage forms for us to send our cases to the next hotel. There is a 7eleven underneath the hotel which is handy for snacks and drinks. There is a bus stop across the road, which is the main way of getting around Kyoto to see all the sights. It is also a 5 minute walk to the tram which takes you to Arashiyama, which is where the bamboo grove is located. We would highly recommend Sawano for breakfast or lunch which is a 20 minute walk away. This hotel is super cheap for what you get!

It's a half an hour walk or a 10 minute bus from the main Kyoto station. Everything in Kyoto is quite spread out, so just a note more than an actual negative!
