Friendly staff, the hotel is in a lovely old building. The common rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen provided another sitting area with coffee, tea, etc. always available. The breakfast was good. The free parking was another plus. Definitely recommend this hotel when you are visiting the lovely city of Portsmouth.

Our room was on the ground floor. Although this was convenient, we could hear a bit of hallway noise since it was near the reception area. The beds were a bit too soft.

A beautiful inn which is within walking distance to everything!

Was close to everything and was an easy walk. The staff were all fantastic!!

It was hard to regulate the room temperature as the windows didnt really close tight and lock. A lot of chipping paint

It was nice.

Hotel was quaint. Was walking distance to where we were dining. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Had to push floor 3 on elevator in order to get to first floor. First floor button didnt work. Had to find someone to show me. View was just of other buildings.

The hotel is in a great location with a large carpark The hotel is beautiful externally. Interior is defined by 2 gorgeous front rooms a library and a sitting rooms with comfortable Chesterfield style sofas. Breakfast room is basic but nice with a good continental buffet. Our bedroom was large and comfortably furnished with plenty of wardrobe space. Staff were very friendly
