An oasis in the heart of the city

An awesome old colonial style hotel. The pools are superb. The surrounding are green and tranquil. The services are gentle and warm. Angela the girl in breakfast room is very attentive.

Rooms are not well kept, stains on the carpet and walls. walls need painting, rooms starting being outdated, needs maintenance. Rusted amenities etc. Not a 5 star quality in this sense. Furniture getting rusted or broken. Pity for such a great hotel

Its not a city hotel/ business hotel. Great for leisure time, very artsy. Cosy place and the staff are pleasant/ courteous.

Enjoyable stay but could have been much better!

The hotel's exceptional location and its lavish interiors beautifully reflect the rich history and vibrant culture of Jakarta. The breakfast spread was a delightful culinary journey, boasting a delectable variety of dishes. Furthermore, the bed provided an unparalleled level of comfort, ensuring a truly restful stay.

Considering the amount we paid for our stay, one might reasonably anticipate a higher standard of service. Regrettably, the hotel appears quite dated and could benefit from more diligent maintenance. Our room's carpet exhibited numerous unsightly stains, the iron we requested proved to be leaky, and the pervasive smell of smoke in the rooms was disappointing. Given the heritage and prestige associated with this hotel, it is unfortunate that there seemed to be numerous opportunities missed to enhance the overall quality of our stay.
