Great historical hotel in downtown Atlanta

Incredible building with an interesting history. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The room was large and spacious. Nicely fitted and a clean well stocked bathroom.

Pillows (most hotels have this issue) were too soft. A choice of a more firm pillow would have made my sleep a lot better.

Any Place with Running water would have been better

Beautiful Lobby and convenient location.

They had planned plumming issues and no water in the rooms until around 10 at night. We arrived at the hotel after a 16 Hour Flight, they claimed that they had informed us in advance (not true) and then basically told us to feel free to find another hotel. Worst experience, will always remember not to stay at a Hilton hotel. Nobody apologized, by the way.

Decadent and secluded in an ivory Atlantean tower.

Gorgeous decor, shows off the history and decadence of ATL. Its a nice hotel as maybe not exactly close to all the things we wanted to see, it was still worth it because it felt secluded and private.

Location if youre after some of the more finer dining experiences, it could be a trek to get out as for some reason Ubers and Lyfts are scarce so it could take 10 minutes for you to get a ride to Midtown - Buckhead. But this isnt really a knock its more of an understanding that if youre staying at this hotel itll give you a quieter more secluded feel from the loudness and bustle of midtown.

Bad

We left after the first night and didnt stay the second.

I like the old world style!

It was dirty. Our toilet kept backing up and making noises and we asked for it to be fixed and it wasnt. We also had stained sheets and a dirty bathroom. We called customer service several times and they forgot to send someone up each time. Also we called for valet to bring our car and it wasnt brought for 45 minutes.
