Our booking was cancelled by stay vista a day before without informing us. When I called I been told that the owner of the property has made a sudden booking so your booking has been cancelled.

Overcharged inconvenience

The property was beautiful and location fairly good.

Problems we faced were : 1. The caretakers were practically living in the house. The dining area was always completely occupied by the caretaker family. They kept the drawing room locked and that contained the TV. Why did we pay for the whole property when the only access we got was the 2 rooms? 2. The caretakers charged us for cleaning the utensils. If we pay for the breakfast, aren't utensils included in the same? I have never paid at even 7 star restaurants for utensil cleaning. Absolutely ridiculous 3. The caretakers never gave us any privacy. The property allows for using the kitchen. The caretakers used to come and monitor us whenever we came to make maggi or tea. (We bought our own maggi ) 4. The property is good, but we always book good properties. our experience here, as compared to the experience at other BnBs in other hill stations for poor. 5. The breakfast of idli sambhar was terrible. The idli was rubbery. And the caretaker had the audacity to tell us that we didnt know how an idli tasted like. 6. There was one geyser for 5 people that stayed. Water used to get cold after 2 bathed 7. The caretakers only turned on the generator when the water stopped coming in the toilets. We sat in humoid rooms without AC because they wouldnt turn on the generator! 8. I wish there was some refund or compensation, as I genuinely feel cheated by the beautiful property which was unliveable with the caretakers.

Beautiful property with Bad management

Location is excellent. Villa is beautifully constructed Quiet surroundings and very pretty view

Villa is not well maintained...drawers , cupboards, kitchen is unclean. No gas stove for self cooking in villa. No utensils at all in kitchen..not even plates and cutlery No kettle also in kitchen Use of wooden trays in bathrooms - with fungus growing on them Large cockroaches crawled out of kitchen drawer No dustbin provided in kitchen Local staff are sweet simple helpful people ...but not advised by managers enough how to prepare for guests...had no milk even to make some tea , no ice , etc. Attitude of villa managers to demand money for every food item strictly in advance is strange and unwelcoming.

Totally worth because of location, view and kerela type architecture of the villa

The location of the property gives scenic view when you sit on the swing having morning tea. The villa design is very beautiful, same as what shown in photos. A big garden area to have family time Villa is super clean and neat. Care takers were very helpful

I booked only for 1 day. Please avoid that mistake. If budget permits you should atleast have 2 days stay to enjoy nice peaceful and refreshing time

Retro look and Privacy

Need a bit low food charges breakfast for 1 is 300 lunch for 1 is 650 but the staff was very supportive they reduced the charges also, in addition a swimming pool will be a cherry on the cake
