I had a surprisingly pleasant stay at the hotel which exceeded my expectations.

I would say the best I like about this hotel is its proximity from JB custom which is like a 15 mins drive from JB City Square by Grab. And most importantly, it is connected to the Mid Valley Southgate mall by a glass door. And once you enter the mall, take the escalator down and you find the Village Grocery where u can stock up your drinks and snacks and eat them in the hotel. Next thing I like about the hotel is its spacious room, clean, smells good, greeted by nice music from the TV the moment I entered the room and great views of the city as I was staying in an urban king room on the 22nd floor. The highest floor is 28 where the swimming pool, gym and a nice place to chill bar are located.

The worst thing I did not like about the hotel is the buffet breakfast. Its a weekday after the holiday season, but yet there is a snake queue of guests waiting to get a table at about 9.30am, where the buffet closes at 10.30am. When I check in the hotel, I already saw a sign put up at the front desk where they recommend guests to have breakfast between 6.30am to 7.30am, as after that, the place will be crowded with guests.

Overall, I would stay at St Giles again because of the location.

Excellent location - it's connected to Mid Valley South Key and close to town.

The room could've been cleaner. The sheets didn't smell fresh so I question how often they change the sheets.

Good hotel with great location and definitely cost efficient

The plus point is the location, being situated right beside Midvalley mall with a linkway. It is also not far from the JB customs. The rooms are adequate with comfortable bed and pillows. The toilet is good. While the breakfast spread was not extensive, the quality is pretty good. Suitable for a short stay and cost-effective accommodations

The room wasn't sufficiently cleaned, but was adequately addressed after seeking assistance from the staff. While the hotel was opened in 2019, the rooms seem older than expected. The breakfast spread could be more extensive.
