Perfect, simple hotel to stay in Bangkok, clean, great people, would stay again.

I really loved staying at this hotel. It is a very small hotel - I think it is family-run - and I felt very safe, as a solo female traveler I felt very safe. I had a room down the hall from the desk, so someone was always close by (not that it was needed, but it was nice to know they were there). The staff were super helpful when my luggage was lost by the airline and had to be delivered at 3 am! My room faced the courtyard so I had a nice view on mornings that I was working at my "desk" (I was doing some remote work while I was traveling). Great Wi-fi, plenty of hot water, super clean. The room is very utilitarian, but very roomy, and it was the perfect place to have my first ten days in Thailand. Will stay there again for sure. There is a bustling street market on the main street a block away every night and the Payab Pier is about five blocks away - you can catch the Orange line boats to anywhere in Bangkok along the river for fifty cents.

Because the hotel is down the alley, my taxi from the airport took a few minutes to find it. But we got it after a minute and the cab driver took me right to the door.
