Perfect stay. Highly recommended. Best Value for money in Cairo.

All was perfect and above expectations ! Best value for money Absolutely perfect service and the staff is very reactive and helpful. Room Service, laundry, Valet Parking, Reception, All was perfect. It's Safe and the Location is good. Many dining options, a Spa, bars, Casino... The room was spacious and comfortable. We really had a good experience and will definitely come back. I confirm that its of a 5stars standard hotel.

Overrated hotel, Very old hotel , with a very old furniture and the carpet is old and dirty. I dont know how this hotel rated 5 stars. I really feel sorry for the amount I paid to stay there.

Very poor, dont want to suggest anyone and will make sure in future not to stay in this hotel.

Sorry, I liked nothing.

Hotel staff at reception was very careless, not customer friendly. I had to wait for more than one hour as he was checking with his senior staff if he can take payment in Egyptian currency. I reached to hotel at 1:45 PM and first he asked to pay USD 40 extra for early check in or I have to wait for 20 mins as checkin time is 2:00 PM, I never find such kind of behaviour at any 4~5 star hotels.

Unfortunately, our opinion is that Sonesta was the worst of all our eight (8) Egypt hotel stays.

The shuttle service and drivers to the Almaza mall and airport were professional and punctual - good. The senior reception guy who attended to us was also professional and addressed our queries fast. These guys were of the same good standard of all our other hotels.

Our observations = 1) the older staff are OK, but the younger staff seemed un-trained e.g. they serviced the rooms and re-used dirty/stained towels, they told us to use very dusty old pillows from the cupboard, re-used cups for cappucinos etc - very unusual compared to all our other hotels. 2) looked like only a few staff could understand simple English - again, very unusual compared to all our other hotels. 3) the hotel room bathroom had a stuck sink (not use-able), peeling wallpaper, rotting wood smell (sink table was wood), shower stall mould, shower water temperature always going high-low-high-low by itself (?), no room service number pick-up (?), screw sticking out of floor board scratched our feet (we placed a cloth over it). Unfortunately, our opinion is that Sonesta was the worst of all the eight (8) hotels we have stayed in in Egypt over the past twelve (12) years.
