Location. Close to theaters, subway but away from crowds. Nice bars and restaurants

Prices in the restaurant are extremely high and not worth it.

Dirty, substandard hotel

The location was nice.

The hotel was utterly dirty and should not be considered as at par with Sofitels in other parts of the world. I tried to take a shower and a completely contaminated water came out. The turbid water did not go away even though I ran the water out for fifteen minutes. They charged egregious amount of money like other Sofitels in Europe, but I felt like I was at an Ibis.

Dear Sofitel team, I have stayed at Sofitel New York on the 17th December 2023 for two nights, my Booking.com Confirmation number is : 4146.272.765. Upon arrival I paid (888.18$) include a hold for incidental which I understand will be returned back into my credit card. And on December 19, 2023, at 12:00 AM, Sofitel New York charged my card 588.18$. I would appreciate it if you could clarify why money was withdrawn from my card after I had already paid upon arrival

Location and restaurant (breakfast) excellent.

Frankly, for this price not even a bottle of water in the room. Arriving late from airport, not even having a bottle of water in the room. I thought this is a hospitality business. And at the core is the client. A bit disappointing.
