Superb

Great quiet location yet very close to bars and restaurants. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Rooms cleaned every day, with soap, toilet paper, coffee etc all replenished. The AC was quiet and worked perfectly. Fantastic views! Lovely swimming pool.

The breakfast could be better. No orange juice some mornings but the staff were happy to provide some if you asked. Better choice of bread for toast. Not just white bread. More variety of fruits would be good.

Unsatisfactory. Not enough value for the price

Room very wide and a big terrace as well. Good location.

The bathroom was very old. There was smell from the pipes and the shower did not have enough pressure. The sheets were stained and the towels very old. Breakfast was barely passable. For laundry, they lost a sock and ruined a pijama. The terrace door could not be properly closed, so the last day it rained and we woke up with a cockroach inside the room.

Breakfast wasnt included in our triple room (the option was not available), there were some little things on our bed table that kept showing, maybe it were woodworms.

Great location, lovely friendly staff and stunning views.

Great location, lovely friendly staff and stunning views. Room was so comfortable.

Property was v clean so minor issue - whilst the towels and bed linen were clean they were quite worn and marked which was a shame. Especially as its meant to be 5* and for the price compared to other hotels. Food in the restaurant wasnt great so only ate there once and skipped breakfast as lots of nicer choices nearby. Would still highly recommend though.

Amazing location, Walking distance to all Koh Tao Highlights. Super friendly and professional staff, always available to help.

The property needs a little renovation here and there, some were actually ongoing while we were there. Other than that absolutely recommended!

Excellent staff - amazing location - wonderful stay!

This is our third time to simple life Cliff View resort for a good reason! The location. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is between the pier and Sairee beach which means you have access to everything you need in either area but you are in a quiet location to rest and relax. The rooms. The pool view or resort few rooms are perfect. They have a large sitting room with two couches a table and a huge bed. The outdoor patio is also a good size with a table to enjoy morning coffee or a couch to lay out and read a book. The rooms really are one of the biggest we had in Thailand. Most of the rooms have a view or slight view of the ocean and an ocean breeze which is very welcome in the heat The staff. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Heymar at the front desk is a super star. Shes been with the hotel for about 10 years and manages everything brilliantly. She is helpful, kind, smart, and willing to help you with whatever you need. Phoo is a rising star at the hotel and is also at the front desk ready to help with whatever you need. The restaurant staff are always smiling and happy to feed you and everyone in housekeeping happily keeps your room neat and tidy. We were at Cliff View for two weeks and could have easily stayed longer. When we left it was like leaving family; hugs, smiles and wonderful memories. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only negative thing I can say is that the property is in need of some major repairs. The wooden deck throughout the property is falling apart and rusting. There are some deckboards missing or sunken in some areas which can be a trip hazard for younger or older travelers. There are also some rusty jagged nails visible in some areas around the deck by the ocean. My husband actually cut his leg on one of these rusty nails which left quite a gash. We did speak with Management about it and they do plan to fix these issues, I just hope they do it soon so that it doesnt get worse or other guests have minor injuries from the nails or deck boards.

Superb

Excellent location, very clean, great swimming pool - definitely recommend!

Excellent location, it's overlooking Sairee Beach (the main place in Koh Tao) and just a couple walk to the main street at sairee beach or a ten minute walk the other direction towards the port! The room was very clean and spacious, and the pools were lovely. The staff at reception were also very friendly and incredibly helpful in organising taxis and our next ferry transfers so we didn't have to worry about the next leg of our trip! Highly recommend Simple Life! They also include a free pick up from the port when your ferry arrives at the start which is very handy!

No hot water in our shower but it was very hot so we actually didn't mind at all!

Disappointing

Okay stay but wouldnt return. Run down and little service.

Location at the end of the main beach wasnt bad

Old, not well maintained, very little service, breakfast just okay. Pool okay for a quick cool down bug not appealing to sit around. Rooms and cooling not great.
