Disappointing

Not a luxury resort.

Spacious gym; sauna/steam room. Sleek decor. Good cocktails at the bar, free parking.

Some items in the room not working (TV, soap dispenser, bathroom door got stuck); King rooms are a bit claustrophobic for 2 people, and there's no good place to sit and work anywhere else in the hotel if you don't want to disturb your fellow traveler (they charge $$ for the rooms off the lobby). Rooms lack coffee maker/hot water kettle. WIFI was an unsecured network that didn't let me connect to my work VPN (in Silicon Valley? Really??). The weirdest thing was that I noticed the hotel staff checked out my social media pages -- not sure if that's how hotels do their marketing research these days, but I find it highly unusual.

Great stay

The hotel is not big but has everything, the pool, hot tub, gym, sauna, steam room, etc. They are all well-maintained. We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was so delicious. The cafe is great too. They even gave free hot chocolate to my kids when I ordered coffee there. The room is also clean, very comfortable and quiet.

When I stayed there, the restaurant does not offer breakfast or lunch, although they have some pastry and sandwiches at the cafe. It is not a big deal but more options would be more convenient.

Amazing, wed definitely stay again!

Convenient location, beautiful hotel. Parking was a breeze. Offered water upon check-in. Sauna and steam room were great. Room was clean and modern with both chromecast and apple tv. Even had a wireless charger for use in the room. Bed was uber comfortable, one of the comfiest weve ever slept in. The hotels signature scent was amazing, I wish I could purchase it!

No microwave in rooms but I noticed one in the lobby. Itd be nice to have the option to add breakfast on the booking.com method. Shower leaked onto the floor in the bathroom, however we were only staying for the night and it was quite late to switch rooms by the time we noticed.Robes were comfy but I noticed hair and a stain on one of them and only one pair of slippers were available.

Modern and stylish

Very modern and elegant. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Nice touches with the toiletries, robe and slippers.

I didnt feel the reception staff where that friendly. I had a problem with my booking, Id made a mistake with the date, it was my own Fault but they didnt handle it well and just left me to sort it, out with booking.com. We had traveled 500 miles a glass of water and a nice smile would of helped. I didnt feel welcome at all.

Very good

The proximity to the Google campus is great, the rooms are comfortable and nice, the staff is very wemcoming,

The hotel has a strict policy of disallowing early check-ins and late check-outs. As an international traveller I arrive to SFO in the morning after a long flight. All other hotels I've been to make an effort to accommodate you if they have the room ready, but Shashi's policy (based on several visits I had) is to charge you for a full extra night before 10am and for 20$/hour (between the early check-in and 3pm) afterwards. The same goes for extending the checkout - 20$/hour even if you want 12pm instead of 11am. To me that's a significant consideration.
