Seehotel Sternen is a hotel located in front of the lake and close to Lucerne. The breakfast offers a mix of salty and sweet options with a beautiful lake view. The beds are singles without a topper, (Read More) causing some distance between them. The hotel does not provide sleepers and gowns. The reception is not available 24 hours. The rooms are simple with good wifi, TV, and fridge. Nearby activities include visiting Lucerne city and its Christmas market. The hotel's restaurant receives positive reviews. One guest had a great experience with a wedding party, praising the service, food, cleanliness, and the friendly hotel owner. Another guest appreciated the amazing lake view and friendly staff, although the room amenities and average breakfast were not up to expectations. One guest had to cancel last-minute due to a sick baby and was allowed to do so for free, despite the initial conditions stating otherwise.

The hotel is nice, the staff at the reception are amazing but the restaurant was a let down, both staff at the restaurant and the dinner and dining experience. As guests of the hotel you have to make a reservation to have dinner. Breakfast was good, nice selection of cheese and meat, lots of continental options.

Despite the fact that the hotel restaurant was empty at the time we came we had a table placed in the hall/corridor. The chicken was undercooked and jelly, not nice, I was expecting better from a 4/5star place.

Room with breathless view

The lake view was amazing. We booked the room with city view and we got an upgrade when we arrived at the hotel. The room was very clean and the breakfast very good. Especially the cheeses and the prosecco.
