Exceptional

We enjoyed a delightful 3-night stay at the homestay in the heart of the fort. The hosts were exceptional, especially the two charming little girls and their adorable cat. The location is perfect, and I look forward to returning someday.

Wifi was not working. Hope they will improve the connection.

Loved this place. Tucked away down a lane in the middle of a block meant it was quiet but very central. Lovely room with a small balcony and comfortable bed

They have disconnected the fan. The aircon was excellent but we could have managed with the fan most of the time.

Best value you can find within the fort area

Location is best, right in the fort area. Room was clean, proper size, air-conditioned. Bathroom was neat and clean, stylish. Got a little balcony. Bed was comfy too. Of course, family who runs the guest house was very friendly and helpful.

WiFi didn't work most of the time when I was there. Signal was there but couldn't connect to internet.

Nice local house and family, big mosquito net, quiet, plenty of room for bags etc.

No hot water, but generally not an issue as it's warm enough

Great location

Great location right in the old town so everything we wanted to see was nearby. We stayed at the top floor, so the wi-fi signal wasnt strong enough, but the man working there gave us a router to take to the room which was very nice. The bed was clean and we had hot water in the shower.

We paid in Sri Lankan rupees and the rate could have been better (comparing to other hotels at this time)

Warm as the wind, always with my heart

This is the best family hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed here for nine days and it is located in the center of the castle. The shop owner and his family are very enthusiastic, and if there is a chance to come back to Galle in the future, I will still stay here. Wishing the store and family all the best

the location is great in the fort of galle,

not very clean, dusty and the absolut worst thing is the non stop noise all the time. this place is in the family's house so just for you to know that you will hear kids scream from early in the morning untill very late at night. no rest in the midle of the day and one time I dressed in the room and one of the kids looked at me throuh the window .. not very nice. noisy
