Lovely hotel in a great location

The location is great, right by the station so it is super easy to walk with the suitcase. The hotel itself is nicely decorated and feels cozy. We booked a suite with a view to the mountain and it was absolutely beautiful. The suite itself was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff at the reception were friendly and very helpful with the tips about what to visit when, howuch time we needed etc. The breakfast room was lovely as well, the choice of food was great. Good coffee. The staff could at least offer a smile...oh we'll, it was 7am, perhaps too early for them.

The staff at the restaurant downstairs was not very welcoming. The hotel staff messed up our booking and then the restaurant downstairs did not want to let us have dinner there, despite having many empty tables. There was one lady, sounding rather aggresive, who told us to come back in an hour or later! We had to go back to the reception and make a fuss, only then did we get a table (and we could chose any we liked, meaning there were no reservations). Moreover, we observed many people coming in without a reservation and being accommodated by the same unpleasant lady. They gave me one glass of prosecco for free as an apology. The food was nice.

very nice room with excellent view of Matterhorn. So lucky we are on very clear sky, so we can see Matterhorn very clearly. Room service is very nice. Every thing is good for this hotel. Breakfast also very nice.
