San Lorenzo - Hotel & SPA is an elegant and modern hotel with amazing views. The pool and upper terraces are gorgeous. The standard rooms are clean and spacious with nice bathrooms and comfortable be (Read More)ds. However, the refrigerators are stylish but too small. The staff is welcoming and capable. The area's geography makes it difficult to get around without a car. The hotel provides narrow and sometimes steep routes. Overall, it is an amazing place with fabulous views, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff.

Very good

The staff was very kind and helpful, the Panorama is superb and the outdoor areas are beautiful, the room is very comfortable and parking in the property is a must in this area

The location is beautiful although it is quite far apart, the size of the bathroom is a little small and it starts to require some maintenance in the shower, the sink and towels hooks

basic. didn't meet what it aspired to be.

Checkin was quick. Travel to the location (I drove) was good.

Missing light fitting outside with exposed wires. The toilet was in the weirdest place in the bathroom, meaning you had to sit sideways to use it. The aircon was terrible. The room had a horrible drain smell. There was a half smoked cigarette on the balcony. Just... a bit rubbish really.

Far too many outstanding positives to outweigh the few negatives.

Wonderful setting, great views, superb rooms and excellent staff.

No surrounding amenities (restaurants/shops) almost at all..partially, I suspect, as a result of the location.

There are better places for this money

Property itself looks nice and the staff is very friendly.

The pool closes at 17h. We arrived in the hotel around 16h so we had to rush to the pool just to relax there for an hour. There was also an event taking place which we had to cross in our swimming clothes, which gave us an unwelcome feeling. The doors are super loud. So be aware you might wake up a few times in the evening/night/morning if you have neighbours. Our bathroom was drained in water after taking a shower because the sealings were not in good condition. Anyway, we came to relax here and that feeling was absolutely not met during our stay here.

Great place but needs some minor tweaks to improve

Lovely hotel, the breakfast had a great selection, amazing views from the terrace and nice pool which wasnt too busy. Lovely staff at front desk

Unfortunately our shower leaked all over the floor when using and was unavoidable due to missing shower seals, most off the fixtures in the bathroom were coming off the wall which was disappointing

Glad our stay is over

Beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and it was nice that we came back to a clean room with clean towels each day. Nicely styled room. The view at breakfast was lovely. We didnt use the pool but it did look like a nice area.

First of all we paid for a Mountain View and we opened our window (no balcony) to look out at an air conditioning unit you had to put your head right out and round to see the mountain. So this can only be described as a partial Mountain View at best, we asked to move to another room with a balcony and they said they would let us know but never did even when we asked a couple of times. On our first day we needed to get a taxi back to the airport to get our hire car. We asked for one to be called and they said yes it was on its way we then sat and waited for about 45 minutes to then be asked if we did need a taxi we said yes at this point we realised it would have been much cheaper and quicker to go and get a bus and a train but decided to persevere it was then another nearly an hour until our taxi arrived with us continually asking how long etc this cost 105 euro and the driver didnt know how to get to the arrivals area of the airport! Obviously the taxi wasnt booked when we first asked. Breakfast if Im honest wasnt that amazing it was ok but confused on the reviews saying it was amazing as hot options (fatty bacon or boiled sausages) very limited and not enough fruit and just lots of cake and biscuits not many healthy options. We also found it beyond bizarre that everyday we had to sit at a table where other peoples dirty plates and cups were there was absolutely no effort to clear tables for guests and we werent the only ones. Most hotels I have stayed at they actually clear your plate while you sit there! The coffee machine also seemed to spew out hot milk and was erratic. The staff also closed off the food dead on 10am which isnt a huge issue but does make you feel unwelcome. The shower in our room leaked horrendously which I think is a theme. No coffee in the room so its not true that you have tea and coffee making facilities. The mini bar/fridge is so tiny you have no way of putting anything of your own in to it so this is useless as well.

Nat for a tourist! Strongly NOT recommend. Unless for one night for the amazing view.

The view from public places or from deluxe room. Breakfast was ok if you like pastries.

Location is terrible. The roads to reach hotel is not for tourist. You have to be a local to be able to reach the place. If you take just simple room, the view will be into the noisy and horrible part of the hotel. If you upgrade your room into deluxe room- you will have an amazing view, unfortunately you wont have AC in the room. Only portable fan. Every day complained about broken AC, room has ben change for an other, again, without working AC. Explanation was, that one room on the same floor is using AC, thats why into other rooms AC isnt working.

Lovely location. Large pool. Very nice rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Let down by terrible coffee.

The views of pompei are very good. There are many terraces and a very big pool. The surroundings are tranquil and span several terraces. The dinner area has a superb view. The breakfast buffet was very good (except the coffee which was a big letdown)

The coffee was awful. It's so strange. Everything else about the breakfast was top spec. I just assumed the coffee would be good as well but it wasn't. Other guests made negative comments about the coffee while I queued at the machine. Also the dinner restaurant meal portions were small for the main dishes. Given prices were were quite high I was expecting at least a reasonable portion.
