Not a Great Check-in or welcoming experience at Rydges Palmerston - Darwin

Booked a certain room with washing Machine and dryer at a set price then was given a room without, Check-in Staff (Man) wanted to ague and said I didn't book that room and wanted to charge me extra, I pointed out that Booking.com showed with washing machine and dryer in the room and he still wanted to ague, was very rude and very unaccommodating. Once I stood my ground I was given a better room with what I expected though the experience of checking in to the Rydges Palmerston - Darwin was horrible. When I went down to reception for the new room key the Man just said , "Talk with the Girl, I don't want to talk with you, We have given you a better room"!

Room was huge and curtains were very good - totally blackout.

Air conditioning in the building was too strong, the transition from inside to the hot outside was a shock to the system. It doesnt need to be 18 degrees inside.

The room cleanliness comfort & restaurant.. it is a great hotel & very well managed & maintained am grossly impressed..staff is great too..!!

Nothing that I can think of.. everything seemed perfect.. managers seem to be doing a great job

Comfortable lovely environment with friendly staff, I would definitely stay again.

Clean,comfy bed, friendly staff who smiled and spoke to us. Easy access for disability. Pool was relaxing and quiet. Parking on site. Loved the Christmas decorations.

Lack of shower near pool. Sign asks Shower before entering pool,but, you need to do that in bathroom then go in lift wet down to pool.
