Disappointing

worst place I've stayed in Cairns and definitely not worth the over$250 I paid for the night

Staff were nice

the TV was old and didn't work properly (volume kept going in and out) Only one elevator was working so took ages and was always packed with people no technology in room. USB points are so commonplace in accommodation now the hotel looked really rundown, need painting and skirting boards replaces in the hall chairs in room too short for the table some lights not working

Would not recommend.

The location

Great view from the 12th floor. Very old. In need of a total upgrade. Towels checked in and out on paper. Staff dont have attention to detail. Cockroach found in the room. Really bad smell in lobby and breakfast wasnt worth having twice. Lights flickering. Would not recommend.

Excellent location, views and facilities at a reasonable price.

We had a sea view room on the ninth floor that was spacious and very comfortable with balcony and lovely views.

Bathroom is a bit dated but still clean and large.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for one night would have stayed two of it was cheaper

Love the view and the closeness to everything at ur fingertips the beds are so comfortable and the room was very clean

The cost in holiday season was out of this world $420 for one night and Ive stayed out of season n it only cost $160 for one night big jump too expensive. And only that pool is shut down at night we were keen for a late night swim

Ok in an emergency. Found cheaper and nicer accomodation for our next few nights.

Last minute availability during sudden airport closure.

Elevators werent working in the morning. Staff told us on arrival that due to an impending water shortage we were to fill our bathtubs with water. The water completely drained out during the night so it was a huge waste of water when the city was trying to conserve it. Hotel overall felt run down.

Thanks guys for taking the time to help us in an emergency. Be safe and well done.

The staff were 110% brilliant. We had to stay as an emergency after being trapped in town and unable to get home due to flooding. Staff were courteous friendly fast and efficient in unbelievably stressful conditions. Well done guys! :) The food service was super fast for dinner and was quite nice. Breakfast was great value for money and also nice. Nice restaurant too. We were upgraded to a ocean view room which was a lovely outlook.

The lift didnt work, we were on the 11th floor so that made life a bit difficult. The balcony had rusted bolts which was a bit scary. The property basically seemed very tired. Also the air conditioning was set to igloo and couldnt be adjusted! There wasnt enough warm bedding provided.
