Very good

Rooms Looking Out at the Indian Ocean

Breakfast included a nice fruit plate and breadbasket. The hotel paid for my taxi from the airport because their driver didn't show up as agreed.

A fan rather than air con would have been welcome in the room .

I was very happy to spend time at Ruvisha Beach Hotel and would stay there again in the future.

Spent 2 nights at Ruvisha Beach Hotel prior to joining a tour group. The hotel was lovely. My room was very spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. The staff were excellent and very informative and accommodating to any request I had. Breakfasts were amazing, tasty and plentiful and very filling. The location was excellent allowing easy access to the beach and nearby shops. I had several swims in the pool which was very clean and cool and perfect after a warm day sightseeing.

I have no complaints about my stay. My room had everything I needed for a 2 day stay.

Good value for the price

It was centrally located near the beach and modest shopping facilities. The restaurant dinner was delicious!

On the surface it looked quite clean. But looking a bit closer fit was clear that only the main walk way was washed.

Superb

Perfect place to stay near the airport.

Room was very clean with good facilities. We loved the pool which felt very clean and a great size to swim in. We had a really tasty meal at the restaurant. Staff were friendly and manager was very attentive to our needs. The hotel provided free airport transfer which was great.

Had to ask the restaurant to reheat some of the food which was not hot, but they responded quickly and efficiently.

Extremely uncomfortable stay

The location was near the beach but still further than the other hotels in the area. The staff was nice and trying to be helpful.

The room especially shower area was not clean, a cockroach with a size of my index finger jumped out of the sink as I turned on the faucet. Someone from housekeeping entered my room without knocking at 6am and then when he saw me left, I called the reception they said there was a mistake. But again at 8:30am there was a knock on my room I didnt answer then another at 9:00am this time insistent and loud. I had to wake up and answer the door, turns out there was a mistake/confusion regarding a wakeup call. Overall for someone who just arrived in the country with a jetlag, the experince was horrible. Also the restaurant area was also too hot and stuffy and yet they did not turn on the A/C
