Close to universal

It was very dirty, had worn out carpet, the shower had no water pressure and I killed a German female cockroach. Told staff and no one really seemed to care. Also believe they have mold because my daughter was so stuffed up and fine when we left.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the location was super close to sea world.

We arrived at the hotel After spending a long day at Busch gardens in Tampa. We were exhausted and ready to crash. Check in was smooth and quick. After I was handed my room key and parking pass I was told to go to another desk to get my welcome package. However when I got to the desk I was met by a woman trying to get me to sign up for a resort tour. I let her do her Spiel and politely declined although at this point I was overly annoyed because it was 11pm and I was exhausted. She was kind but kind of pushy and made it hard for me to walk away after telling her no a few times. She kept using a sense of urgency, and asking questions about our stay to get me to hang around longer. We booked this room as a extension to our vacation and booked here due to it offering a mini fridge and microwave in room so we could buy groceries to avoid eating out. After putting our groceries in the fridge we discovered it didnt work. So we were out the money for our groceries since they went bad and also had to end up spending more to eat out. We decided to not go to the desk to tell them to avoid dealing with the sales lady again. Also the smoke alarm was dangling by a wire from the ceiling. Overall it was a decent place to crash after being at the parks. The sales pitch just completely ruined the entire experience for me though.

We didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel, perfect for what we needed.

Pools were clean and nice temperatures. Good location.

Felt like we couldnt open the curtains as other guests/staff are often walking past.

Disappointing

The staff was pleasant but the roaches and stopped up toilet I wont be returning

The area and price was affordable and the staff was nice the room had roaches and toilet overflowed

My room had roaches crawling around which I had to switch rooms and the second room toilet stopped up
