Disappointing

Not very pleasant- I would suggest to chose an alternative option

Location

The rooms need a bit of upgrade. The hotel is a 3 star hotel and it is considerably expensive specially breakfast which in a few occasions didn't have a wider selection of choices because 'we were late' Staff didn't take complaints seriously - another guest had access to our room and came in on our very first night and woke my kids up. My daughter was completely stressed and upset and so far haven't heard back from the hotel even though I complained a number of times but nobody seem to care

This is not a 4 star hotel. Your description of the place is misleading

Room had no window, just a glass wall had to pay more to get a room with a functioning window so we could get some fresh air. Ridiculous

Disappointing

Cocktails were delicious and pool staff were very friendly.

Toilet was not working in our room and had to ask multiple times to rectify this issue. Staff at reception were not approachable or helpful, especially, Alexander. The floors were very sticky and were rushed out the door at check out, well prior to our check out time.

Not a pleasant stay

Booking with this hotel turned out to be the biggest mistake that we made during our trip to Cancn. Location is far away from center area of hotel zone. Rooms are in poor shape. Staff aren't helpful. Breakfast isn't free. Boulevard side rooms are noisy due to traffic and poor quality windows. Room A/C was moaning loudly when working. The balcony door was broke. etc... Even getting a bottle of water was a challenge there.

Closed room? I think in prison they have a window to open.

A room where you can't open a window??? It was smelling terribly in the morning or when someone used the bathroom and you couldn't air it out??? The only possibility was to switch on a very noisy and windy air conditioner. First they also placed us into a room which was just right next to a very loud machine/compressor where it was impossible to sleep. Only after we complained we got a more quiet one. This was the second worst stay of my life. The furniture was partly damaged and very used. The bed was 120cm for two people although it was advertised as double room. Barista at Starbucks was unable to make an Americano. It tasted more like water than coffee. When I asked her to add more coffee, she added more water. When working as a barista in a hotel you should speak some English.

Great location, nice view, quite spacious rooms and the balcony was great

So much mould everywhere! In the room, corners, ceiling, bathroom, shower etc etc. It was impossible to be in the room without the balcony door opened as you could really smell it. Made us cough a lot.
