The room was clean and had enough space. It was well heated. The staff is very friendly and helps you out.

A convenient place to stay just to sleep and have easy access to city centre.

The staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable. And the location of the hotel to the metro and the city centre was perfect.

The room was a bit on the small side and a few small things were in need of repair.

Location is good, breakfast is ok, room is clean

Room is small and very basic, doesn't have lots of facilities: no kettle, no coffee/tea maker. Bed lamps didn't work. Room has view of the garbage area. Staff is not really friendly.

Hotel refuses to cancel despite me never using the room

I booked a room while in need, when I tried to move back to Montreal and needed a place to stay. I arrived and walked into my room, and immediately walked out because I didn't feel safe in the room and immediately tried to cancel my reservation, but the staff wouldn't let me. This is horrible customer service :( If you don't use a service, you shouldn't be required to pay for something you don't use. I couldn't recommend that anyone stay here based on how the staff have been so uncompromising and inflexible in this situation. If the people in charge issue me a refund, I would happily delete this review.

A standard hotel in a convenient location

- Comfy bed and pillows. - Clean room with all the toiletries you need in the bathroom. - Conveniently close to the Gare d'autocars / bus station but you do have to walk around the block. - Also close to the Berri-UQAM metro station and the amazing National Library and Archives of Quebec. - Staff were friendly.

- The neighbourhood is kind of sketchy at night. - The door is too thin and so sound insulation was poor. It was quite noisy at times thanks to other guests coming and going so often from rooms nearby or talking loudly in the corridor. - Several large steps up from the street to the lobby was difficult with my big suitcase (there is no ramp). - Room is quite small and I had no direct sunlight or view of anything but a wall a couple of metres away.

Beautiful location near the Chateau Frontenac and the portside. Ideal to walk anywhere and expore as much as you'd like without being too far from your hotel room. Will be reserving there again in the future.
