The rooms at Port Inn and Suites Portsmouth are dated, but the customer service is excellent and the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is better than expected. The location (Read More)is nice but can be noisy at night. The hotel is undergoing repairs and maintenance. Nearby activities include visiting Kittery Trading Post and driving up the coast. The staff is friendly and helpful, despite a few issues with room availability and amenities.

I prefer motel style hotels

The breakfast was good.

The front desk staff was unaware of events happening in Portsmouth.They had the events listed on a board at the front desk. Also not told about the cocoa bar which would have been nice after we returned to the hotel after a rainy night out

A lovely low key place to stay near the Hospital. Old New England decor and charm, modern quality.

Beautiful decor and quality of furnishings. Good amenities like microwave and one cup coffee pot. Breakfast was varied and tasty, well done, and the breakfast room was, again, beautifully decorated and pleasantly situated.

The heating unit under the window worked fine and was easy to use, BUT it was loud and the blower would have put an occasional stiff wind across the beds each time heat switched on. I put a chair in front of it so the wind didnt bother, but the noise was still impressive and disrupted my sleep.

Superb

The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a great breakfast each morning. Location was close to everything. We did not know that if your staying for more than one day you have to request room service ahead if time. That was just one small negative.

Great price for a clean hotel.

The hotel was in a convenient location. Close to Portsmouth shops, UNH, and Maine. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There were good choices for breakfast.
