Met and given a tour of the property and information on what was available locally for our young family. Good location, quiet and very well appointed and felt like a home away from home.

Our hosts met us on arrival at the property to show us around and run through how things work like the BBQ, Coffee machine etc. This was a lovely touch and also very helpful. They were easily contactable throughout the stay if/as required. The property is very well stocked! There are a range of pool toys for the kids (big and little) plus items to go to the beach or on a picnic. Liked the inclusion of towels for the beach, bug sprays etc and plenty of toiletries in the bathrooms. The kitchen was plentiful - so many utensils and plates etc making dining times easy. Short (flat) walk to the beach and only a few minutes' drive into the main hub of town. The house is a great space to come as a group - big enough for all but spread out, so never felt crowded - everyone was able to access their own space indoor or outdoor. Was a very relaxing and lovely trip - would definitely return.

some new pillows might be nice - many were not very comfortable on the beds, but we made do. (And we are possibly a bit pillow fussy lol - nothing compares to your own pillow right?!)

Fabuous two week stay at Pineapple Pete's!

Pineapple Pete's was a fabulous location for our family of four to get away from it all. The house has absolutley everything that you need to be self-sufficient or else is an easy 5-minute drive away from Port Douglas itself. We went in the wet season, so mixed our time inside and outside the property and had a fabulous time with both! Whether it was swimming or lounging by the pool, alfresco dining/games, watching a family movie or heading out for one of the many nearby day trips we had such a great time at Sofia and Peter's beautiful house.

Best property Ive ever stayed in.

Pineapple Petes has went the extra mile in every aspect. The house is impeccable. Sofia has obviously poured her heart into the property, and I can only say it was a privilege to stay here. The decor was honestly like nothing Ive seen before. I will for sure recommend this to everyone I know going to port Douglas. There was a shuttle bus/taxi service that allowed u to get into and from the town whenever u wanted. It was more than comfortable with the air con. They have literally thought of anything anybody would ever need or want in a holiday house. I cant say enough.

There was nothing to dislike. Perhaps that we didnt want to even leave the place to go discover port Douglas!!
