Paradise on earth

The kindness of the staff was outstanding. The food was delicious, the restaurant opens non stop allowing to eat anytime we wanted. Activities were great, and the massages fabulous.

Exceptional experience, but make sure they give you anything complimentary in writing

Beautiful views all day long with soft beaches and many activities to explore, for Christmas they went all out and made it special even though most of the staff are Muslim

They tell you some activities are complementary as soon as you want to go pay for them but as soon as you check out they are back on your bill, makes no sense, would rather just had them let me pay when I wanted to than to change the story

Location is remote but we knew that so wasnt an issue for us. Although a trip to the local village was good.

Wonderful beach atmosphere for instant relaxation

The beach amongst palm trees is a gem - even in light of the tides around here. When not in the sea, the pool is super clean and provides a great alternative. The restaurant lets one have the feet in the sand while enjoying the food with a view, which creates instant relaxation. We did not share the many negative reviews about the food quality but appreciated the modern and clean breakfast/ restaurant area along with wonderfully friendly service. They also have an impressive massage operation with a very nice atmosphere and vibe.

The rooms seem to be past their prime. While very clean, the layout of our jacuzzi suite made us wonder who would take a bath in a space that has many nooks and open spaces for insects to join. Bee season didnt help but the staff took very fast action so we didnt really have an issue.

The view is just insane. We had a roll with a plunge pool and a big terrace to relax. Absolutely amazing to relax.

The restaurants are compared to other we are in not so delicious. We had Thai food and all our appetisers and main courses tasted almost the same. So herbs or spicy used in our opinion. Quite western kind of Thai food. Besides that the staff at the dinner wasnt so kind, we waited over 40 minutes for our main courses. The staff looked a bit unorganised and without system.

Everything. It was the best part of all the Thai islands we visited. Local culture is much more natural too. The drive in from the local pier was a really fun experience. We are glad we did it one way and loved seeing the local village life and natural jungle along the way. Brilliant stay!

Place in Paradise but ..

It is a place in paradise, surrounded by Tucan birds, flying around in the middle of a rain forest. There are two resorts in one place Paradise and Treehouses. Sharing some facilities. We booked the Sea View Plunge Pool Studio, I would highly recommend as the view is stunning and you are in private. It is very clean but lived out. Highly recommend to take private transfer from Haven Marina Phuket. It takes about 45 minutes. Hotel will organize upon request.

If you are looking for beach holiday to swim in the sea, than this is not the place to be. The reason are the tides. If you still want to enjoy the sea, highly recommend swimming shoes. Do not be disappointed once you arrive and the tide is out, the beach looks very barren, covered with stones. The pool is rather small, not many beds and guest tend to put a towel early enough to make sure they have a space. You should know that there is no supermarket close by, so what ever you like, get it before you come to the island. There is another big disappointment we had to face and this is the food! Before we came to this island we stayed in Khaolak, the food there was fantastic! Very sorry to say so but the quality and the preparation of the food is the worst we had. The concept back to Nature is perfect, employing and educating people from the island just perfect! But is wrong with the kitchen? It seems to us they do not not know how to cook Thai. Neither western style. Visiting foreign countries we always go with traditional and local food. Back to Nature , why do I need to be served cheese and other western food. Considering where it came from? As Thai food did not work our, we went for sandwich and fries. Fries were soaked with oil, it almost drained. There is an Italian restaurant, we did not try. This seems to us absolutely out of space, to offer this kind of cuisine. Thai food is so colorful and tasty. The menu was huge, less is more! Yoga amazing, great instructor, perfect open space, view to the sea. Be aware you are in a rainforest, there are mosquitos. It is out of question that this place is very special and amazing!!

This is really paradise! Absolutely amazing! I had the best experience, loved my room with an amazing view over the bay and a huge terrace. The staff is super friendly. You really have to try the yoga if you stay there - yoga with an ocean view!

The pricing in the restaurants is very expensive for Thailand (EU,UK price range), but obviously it is a 4 star hotel, food was amazing.
