A bit disappointing that service level is not being kept up

It happened to be my husbands birthday during our stay and I had order some flowers and balloons to the hotel. I asked the person who did our check in to kindly put them in the room when they arrived and he said he had left a note on my room. Flowers ended up being sent to the wrong room. Balloons were left outside the door (lackluster) and not placed in the room. It did not help that the room was not cleaned during the day (despite didnt not have privacy tag on). We laughed about it but it was disapponting. We also had a strange encounter with the Valet/Doorman who scolded us for not bringing the luggage trolley back to him even though we apologized. It is not as though he offered to help with this at all and made it seem like he was doing us a favour by letting us use the trolley despite having a lot of luggage. Would be nice if they had room service if not just to order something to drink. I have been staying here for years when it was a Westin to visit family nearby and its a shame that service standards are not being upheld since switching hands.

I enjoyed the aesthetic of the facility. The minimalist design provided a calm and enjoyable experience. The room was satisfactory. The bed was clean and comfortable. I did not take part in the breakfast. Staff were friendly and easily approachable. Very helpful and always greeted my guest and I with a smile.

One of the curtain hooks were broken, and the room seemed a little bit out dated. I wished the appliances/devices were more up to date. I have an issue with lighting in many hotels, there is not a lot of it, it was very dim and dark.

Suited a quick 1 night stay

The room was small, dark, and no view at all. The paint was dark and chipped in various places. The shower curtain rod was coming away from the tub surround walls. The TV was lacking any worthwhile channels, far less than basic cable

Disappointing

The lounge looked very nice.

The bed and vouch were very hard and uncomfortable. Also, the bedside table on one side looked as if it was part of a desk or something as it had a hard metal bracket to attach to another piece of furniture and the cabinet opened the wrong way. I had to put a pillow over the bracket when I slept. Very bright lights were coming in through the curtains as well.
