The Pacific Bay Resort is a perfect weekend getaway near the town centre, featuring beautiful pools, comfortable beds, and great food and drinks. While the refurbished rooms were clean and the staff (Read More)friendly, some guests were surprised by housekeeping and a noisy fridge. Terrible service and no facilities

No srrvices to care about customers Rate ridiculous $400. Complained was told hard luck basically Nothing put on for visitors for Xmas day or New Years Eve Terrible shameful hotel with a lovely location

Location and view from the room.

The room and bathroom could have been cleaner. A fair bit of hair was noted in the bathroom sink and shower on arrival.

Pacific Bay, was an exceptional holiday spot, with good memories great food, and relaxing atmosphere. And friendly staff

I enjoyed the tranquility of the location, the pampering of the massage and extra things. But on a sad note where we were accompanied in the lagoon suite felt like being in a dungeon. Dungeon/basement. lol overall its a very relaxing place with plenty to do, for familys and couples who just want a relaxing getaway. Will recommend to family and friends.

We found the bed to be a bit to hard.

Overall a pleasant stay

The location was great, restaurant was wonderful!!

The room smelt musky before we turned the Aircon on. Our room had 2 aircons but only one worked - they couldnt fix during our stay. The TV had limited stations, very pixelated and jumpy during rainy weather- no option for Netflix, stan, Disney etc. Bathroom very dated.

Overall an enjoyable stay

Excellent views and use of the large land area

Could be better sign posted- we got lost many times. We couldnt get the aircon to work, slept with all doors open overnight- no notes in room advising of switch near bedside table to operate aircon. Taps dripped in shower, disturbing our sleep. We believed we had booked adjoining rooms but were told when we arrived that our daughters room was in a different block, this was rather disappointing.

Superb

Peaceful and enjoyable stay

The balcony in the Deluxe room overlooked the lovely grounds of the golf course and leafy gardens. We enjoyed walking through the lakes and to the beach, and then to the large restaurant and bar for drinks and dinner overlooking the fish ponds and gardens. The dinner was tasty and the cocktails were excellent. Very relaxing to see all of the native wildlife wandering around. Would like to stay longer to enjoy the many facilities including pools, tennis courts, and golf course. The room was comfortable and although the bathroom was a bit older it was tidy and spacious. Easy check in and parking available. Short drive to main part of town, and great to break up the long drive from Sydney to Brisbane.
