Disappointing despite beautiful beach and setting.

Great beach and nice pool layout.

Food was terrible. Alcoholic drinks were very limited in variety and location, e.g., scotch was available at only a few bars and no decent brand could be had). So many very loud screaming aerobic lessons and so much very loud rap music everywhere (pools, near beach, restaurants, on grounds) that you could not hear companions talking to you, could not sleep except late at night, and could not even think straight.

If you can afford better, go elsewhere

The rooms were very nice though lacking in washcloths lotions, or any extra amenities besides shower towels.

This is some of the worst food Ive eaten in my entire life. Ive never describe the food as an edible before arriving.

Superb

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Occidental Punta Cana.

Our own beach, spacious rooms, plenty of food and drinks options. Very clean, lots of things to do, staff was patient with non-Spanish speaking clients. Friendly staff, great housekeeping

The spa was extra. Archery was hard to find. Other than that, everything was great! Wifi kept going in and out when I wasnt in the room (breakfast, dinner, beach, etc).

Good value for the price we paid.

Beautiful beach lined with palm trees. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. Suite was large and air conditioning was nice and cold. Royal level made our trip!!

Ran out of things at the bars and service at the buffet was almost non existent but we were ok with getting our own drinks.
